Replanting Welcomes Mr. Dagan Eshel to its Ranks
Replanting, a leader in instore farming industry, developing data-driven instore farms fully automated and fully monitored located inside food retail stores, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dagan Eshel to its Advisory Board.
With more than 30 years at Strauss Group, one of Israel’s leading food companies, Dagan Eshel built extensive expertise in innovation and technology implementation across the food value chain. He joins Replanting at a pivotal stage, helping the company expand and implement its solutions in key global markets.
Dagan began his career by founding his own food company, which he later sold before joining Strauss Group, where he spent over three decades in senior leadership roles spanning innovation, technology deployment, new product development, and business development. Among his notable achievements was the creation and leadership of the FoodTech community “Alpha Strauss,” a major contributor to the growth of Israel’s FoodTech ecosystem. The initiative brought together inventors, entrepreneurs, nutrition experts, and food scientists to address major industry challenges through collaboration with Israel’s startup community and its culture of disruptive innovation. Alpha Strauss generated more than 200 unique technology concepts, with several progressing into advanced development stages.
He also founded The Kitchen FoodTech Hub, which quickly became a leading center for food innovation in Israel. In recent years, Dagan served as Vice President of Innovation for the entire Strauss Group.
